Title: Senior IS Technician - Onsite

Description:
Individuals are responsible to repair, stage, configure and QA IT hardware to stores and field service technicians. This position will also refurbish and QA returned store hardware equipment. Constant walking and standing. Constant lifting less then 30lbs but occasionally lifting up to 80lbs with assistance.
Position Summary:
Provides technical support to the organization's internal users of computer applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, servers, mainframes). Answers questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status and downtime procedures and is typically located within a call center. Collaborates with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems. Maintains a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems.
Duties:
Administer asset tracking using the client software systems.
Provide staging, configuration and bench repairs of specific client store hardware.
Process all applicable warranty claims.
Accurately record all production details and inventory movements.
Refurbish and QA returned store hardware equipment.
Experience:
Technical individual with 2 year technical school, Technical certifications (ex. CompTIA A+), and/or Technical experience preferred.
Administrative computer skills, Word and Excel also preferred
Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
Education:
High School Diploma required.

Good mechanical aptitude
Will train the right candidate how to do the job
Worker will assist in running service calls and installing computer and printer hardware in client stores. Some drive times may be several hours in each direction. A permanent employee will provide direction and support on a daily basis. Worker must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to drive themselves between several client locations on a daily basis. Worker will be reimbursed for miles driven on weekly expense report at client reimbursement rate. Must have previous hardware repair experience, have ability to work on their own, lift 75lbs, work flexible hours, complete required paperwork and have excellent customer service skills.
