Job Description:

  • The Business Analyst will provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for a License and Permit System (Salesforce Public Sector Foundation) to meet diverse business and technological needs.
  • The role involves managing user stories in Azure DevOps, coordinating with QA teams, developing acceptance criteria, and ensuring readiness for development.
  • The analyst will lead and conduct business analysis, apply re-engineering concepts, develop strategies, prepare business cases, and conduct feasibility studies.
  • The position also includes gathering requirements through various methods, conducting modeling and documentation, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and developing performance measures and traceability matrices.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Experience with Salesforce, DevOps, Microsoft tools including Visio and Project, and Miro boards.
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital product development, implementation, and management.
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, Lean, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience in developing epics, features, and user stories.
  • Experience in developing and managing product backlogs.
  • Experience conducting JAD sessions.
Experience:
  • Conducting requirements gathering, developing user stories, epics, and features, including presentations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Track record of meeting deadlines in collaborative team environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Candidateage user stories in Azure DevOps, including updates, backlog management, and roadmap input.
  • Validate and test user stories, coordinate with QA for test cases, scenarios, and data preparation.
  • Populate acceptance criteria and details in user stories for development and business teams.
  • Communicate user stories to the development team and ensure all required information is available.
  • Lead and conduct business analysis to assess client needs and document requirements for I&IT solutions.
  • Apply re-engineering concepts for business improvements.
  • Conduct analysis at varying detail levels aligned with project methodology and standards.
  • Develop strategies, business cases, and feasibility studies for I&IT initiatives.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions such as JAD, interviews, and mockups.
  • Conduct business, use case, data, and process modeling; define business rules and non-functional requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and report to management and stakeholders.
  • Develop performance measures and traceability matrices and conduct follow-up.
Should Have:
  • Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification.
  • Ability to gather end-user requirements under tight timelines and document them in DevOps with acceptance criteria and logic details.
  • Ability to translate business and data requirements into development specifications.
  • Experience developing performance measures and follow-up evaluations.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, user story development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively under deadlines.
Qualification And Education:
  • Relevant education in business analysis, information technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience supporting the development and implementation of large systems utilizing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
  • Experience leading business analysis, facilitating JAD sessions, and creating business requirements documentation.
  • Knowledge of system concepts, development methodologies, and SDLC.
  • Experience with data analysis, migration, mapping, and producing detailed specifications, process maps, and test cases.
  • Previous experience in government or public sector organizations is an asset.
