Data Scientist

Job Description

We are seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in time series forecasting, machine learning, and cloud-based model deployment to join our dynamic analytics team. This role involves working with large-scale datasets, building predictive models, and deploying solutions using Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) tools. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and scalable AI solutions that support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement time series forecasting models (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet) to support business operations.
• Build and optimize machine learning and deep learning models (e.g., Random Forest, XGBoost, LSTM, Transformers) for structured and unstructured data.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering to improve model accuracy and performance.
• Utilize Google Cloud Platform tools such as BigQuery, BQML, Vertex AI, and Cloud Functions for data processing and model development.
• Develop and maintain MLOps pipelines for model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Communicate technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create clear and compelling data visualizations using tools like Matplotlib and Seaborn.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with time series forecasting techniques (ARIMA, Prophet, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience querying large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Functions).
• Experience with EDA, feature engineering, and statistical modeling.
• Ability to evaluate model performance using metrics like RMSE, MAE, AUC, precision, and recall.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, TensorFlow Serving).
• Familiarity with Databricks and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Exposure to AWS or Azure is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $100.00/hr.
