Job Details

Title: Head of Engineering
Location: Northeastern U.S. Region (Hybrid)

Description:
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Head of Engineering to lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud solutions, data architecture, and modernization strategies. This role will guide infrastructure innovation while ensuring compliance, performance, and resilience across technical operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep cloud expertise, data engineering leadership, and a track record of driving transformative initiatives in fast-paced, highly regulated environments. This individual will also oversee disaster recovery and change management processes, ensuring continuity and governance across technology projects.

Required Skills:
10+ years of experience in senior engineering leadership roles, including team and strategy ownership.
Proven success architecting cloud environments on major platforms.
Expertise in designing robust, scalable data infrastructure and streaming systems.
Strong experience with modern programming languages used in data processing.
Experience leading cross-functional teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Effective communicator with ability to convey complex technical concepts to executive leadership and client stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to align engineering initiatives with business priorities.
Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, audit protocols, and governance best practices.
Experience designing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Desired Skills:
Background in implementing data compliance and privacy controls.
Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Data Management Platforms (DMPs), and advanced analytics infrastructure.
Ability to lead innovation initiatives while optimizing operational processes.
Strategic mindset for infrastructure growth and emerging technology adoption.
Passion for mentorship and building high-performance technical teams.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
