V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Senior Web Developer 3 for our premier client in Austin, Texas.
Education and Experience »
- Experience in software product development, digital design, UX/UI or a related field: 8 years.
- Designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices: 8 years.
- Experience conducting user and usability research: 8 years.
- Demonstrated strong writing and organization skills: 5 years.
- Demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills: 5 years.
- Direct experience leading large-scale UX/UI efforts: 4 years.
- Documented experience developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma or comparable design software: 4 years.
- Experience ensuring designs and websites conform to federal accessibility guidelines: 3 years.
- A portfolio of user research, visual design, and usability studies that demonstrates a high level of professionalism: 1 year.
Preferred:
- Documented work experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira": 3 years.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing UX/UI designs to ensure design decisions are grounded in user experience and adhere to agency-wide design standards and industry-wide best practices.
- Translating research into user stories, requirements, flows, wireframes, and prototypes and collaborating on the future product roadmap.
- Employing user testing and outreach to ensure products meets the needs of the end users, in collaboration with partners.
- Partnering with the product team and other key stakeholders, including senior leadership, on design solutions and rationales; collaborating with internal and external teams of product designers, developers, and product managers.
