Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Data & Reporting Analyst (Excel Specialist).

Notes:

  • Hybrid role, 95% remote.
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Description:

  • Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Database Analyst to support data management and reporting needs.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security.
  • This will be a glorified Excel role as the client have huge Excel databases.
  • Have 20,000 people/departments on pagers and need to clean up that directory that is currently in the vendor reporting tool and Excel.
  • It will be a lot of reaching out to departments to update their information and how they would like to be contacted. They will need to be able to work multidisciplinary teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements, generate reports, and support decision-making processes.
  • Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure data integrity.
  • Monitor database performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Be able to create reports.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and validation.
  • Assist in the migration and integration of data from various sources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
  • Hands on with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Good communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
