Description

We are looking for a skilled Programmer Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is a long-term contract position offering an exciting opportunity to design and develop innovative enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in software development, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Python and Dash frameworks.
Build and enhance user interfaces with a focus on performance and usability.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support seamless integration with various systems.
Leverage AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, SageMaker, and CloudFormation to build scalable cloud-based solutions.
Work with relational and non-relational databases including SQL Server, Snowflake, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Implement DevOps best practices using tools like GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring system reliability and performance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet organizational goals and timelines.
Apply analytical and critical thinking to solve business challenges using lean/agile methodologies.
Lead project teams to deliver high-quality software solutions successfully.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in developing enterprise applications.
Proficiency in Python programming and Dash framework development.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, S3, and SageMaker.
Strong knowledge of building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL Server, Snowflake, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Experience with DevOps tools like GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
