The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) is looking for a Senior RPA Developer & Technical Lead to join the Office of Information Technology (OIT). This individual will take a leadership role in designing, developing, and implementing UiPath automation solutions that drive the digital transformation of the agency. As a senior leader, you'll work alongside architects, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance robotic process automation (RPA) solutions.
You will also be responsible for mentoring junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, and overseeing the overall success of RPA projects from design to deployment. This is a critical role requiring a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
RPA Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the design and development of enterprise-level RPA solutions using UiPath, ensuring the automation of complex business processes.
Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end automation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of RPA solutions.
Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for the RPA development team. Guide the team in adopting best practices, code quality, and adherence to architectural standards.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, senior developers, business analysts, and business stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and alignment of project objectives.
Process Automation & Optimization: Identify and recommend automation opportunities within business processes, optimizing efficiency through innovative RPA solutions.
Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, code reviews, and operational procedures for the RPA solutions.
DevOps & CI/CD Practices: Implement best practices for DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control using GitHub and other relevant tools.
UiPath Orchestrator Management: Oversee the setup, configuration, and administration of UiPath Orchestrator to manage and monitor bots effectively.
Security & Compliance: Ensure that RPA solutions are developed in line with security policies, compliance standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest trends in RPA technologies and continuously assess performance to improve scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Team & Client Communication: Facilitate regular communication with team members and clients, providing updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
Minimum Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience:
15+ years of IT experience, with a strong background in software engineering.
At least 8+ years of hands-on experience developing large-scale RPA solutions, preferably using UiPath.
5+ years as a technical lead or lead developer on enterprise-level projects.
Core Skills:
Expertise in UiPath, including Orchestrator setup, configuration, and bot administration.
Strong knowledge of API development, web services, and complex SQL queries.
Proficiency in programming languages like C#, VB.Net, Python, or Java.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub.
Strong experience in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including iterative development and rapid prototyping.
Knowledge of AWS, cloud technologies, and modern UI/UX frameworks.
Ability to manage and mentor junior developers, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
