HIRING NOW: IT Trainer/Content Developer Georgia DOT
Location: Hybrid Various locations across the State of Georgia (First day onsite in Atlanta)
Duration: 12+ months (08/18/2025 07/31/2026)
Rate: $31/hr on C2C or W2

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking a highly motivated IT Trainer/Content Developer to join their IT Training Team. The ideal candidate must be able to deliver technical training across multiple locations in Georgia and assist with course development and learning management.
Role Highlights:
Conduct remote and in-person IT application training (desktop, web, mobile)
Create and maintain training content: user guides, videos, CBTs
Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Captivate, TechSmith Camtasia, Articulate 360
Schedule and track learning via Oracle/Workday LMS
Work closely with GDOT business units and stakeholders
Travel within Georgia for on-site classes (expenses reimbursed)
Required Skills:
5+ years: Microsoft Office/365, teaching/training, strong communication
4+ years: IT training or client support experience
Flexibility to travel across Georgia districts (in-state only)
Preferred:
Experience with Camtasia, Captivate, Articulate Storyline
LMS recordkeeping experience
Background in instructional design/storyboarding
Note:
Local Georgia candidates highly preferred
Must attend onboarding in person (Atlanta) on Day 1
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
No rate increases for first 2 years
