Upstream Manufacturing Associate - Clinical Production
Piper Health and Sciences is seeking an Upstream Manufacturing Associate to support clinical production in a cGMP biopharmaceutical environment. Responsibilities for Upstream Manufacturing Associate Include:
Operate upstream biomanufacturing equipment: bioreactors, filtration systems, centrifuges, autoclaves, washers, and stainless-steel tanks
Perform clean-in-place (CIP), sterilization, and equipment preparation
Execute cell culture operations: aseptic technique, biosafety cabinet use, bioreactor ops, cell banking, and harvest
Prepare media and buffers; perform basic analytical testing (e.g., pH, protein concentration)
Maintain accurate GMP documentation and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Qualifications for Upstream Manufacturing Associate Include:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, etc.) is required.
1-4 years of upstream manufacturing experience.
Basic chemistry and media/buffer prep knowledge.
Familiarity with cell culture techniques and production equipment.
Strong initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation for Upstream Manufacturing Associate Include:
$25.00 - $30.00 hourly, based on/commensurate with experience.
