This job will have the following responsibilities:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Technical Specialist to support the testing and evaluation of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in a regulated industry such as medical devices, healthcare, or automotive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, testing procedures, and technical documentation, with the ability to work independently on third shifts and collaborate closely with engineering teams.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Technical Specialist to support the testing and evaluation of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in a regulated industry such as medical devices, healthcare, or automotive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, testing procedures, and technical documentation, with the ability to work independently on third shifts and collaborate closely with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on testing of mechanical and electrical systems, including battery and circuit testing.
- Operate and troubleshoot test systems using specialized software.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for test failures.
- Document test procedures, results, and observations accurately using Excel and internal systems.
- Support engineers and scientists in technical evaluations and product testing.
- Assist in the development and refinement of testing protocols and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards.
- Participate in hands-on training and collaborate with managers and product teams during onboarding.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical testing or technical support roles.
- Experience in regulated industries (medical, healthcare, automotive).
- Comfortable working third shift and adapting to hands-on training environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with technical documentation.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; relevant experience considered.
