Salary: $21.00 USD Hourly - $26.50 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Technician, Engineering

This job will have the following responsibilities:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Technical Specialist to support the testing and evaluation of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in a regulated industry such as medical devices, healthcare, or automotive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, testing procedures, and technical documentation, with the ability to work independently on third shifts and collaborate closely with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform hands-on testing of mechanical and electrical systems, including battery and circuit testing.
  • Operate and troubleshoot test systems using specialized software.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for test failures.
  • Document test procedures, results, and observations accurately using Excel and internal systems.
  • Support engineers and scientists in technical evaluations and product testing.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of testing protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Participate in hands-on training and collaborate with managers and product teams during onboarding.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical testing or technical support roles.
  • Experience in regulated industries (medical, healthcare, automotive).
  • Comfortable working third shift and adapting to hands-on training environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with technical documentation.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; relevant experience considered.
