Oracle Applications Developer for long term onsite @ california city ,
Oracle Applications Developer with Vertex experience designs, develops, implements, and maintains Oracle applications, particularly focusing on integrating and configuring Vertex tax solutions within the Oracle environment. This role involves working with Vertex for tax calculations, compliance, and reporting, requiring a strong understanding of both Oracle and Vertex technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and Configuration: Develop, configure, and maintain Oracle applications, including those related to Vertex tax integration.
- Vertex Integration: Implement and maintain Vertex solutions for tax calculations, reporting, and compliance within Oracle applications.
- Requirement Analysis: Analyze business and technical requirements to identify solutions for Oracle and Vertex integration.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Develop and execute test plans to ensure accurate tax calculations and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for Oracle and Vertex implementations.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and other support teams.
- Staying Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Oracle and Vertex.
