Title: Veeva Technical Architect Healthcare & Life Sciences (PromoMats Expert)

Job Description:

Join IBM s Veeva Practice as a Technical Architect & Engineer supporting Veeva Commercial Cloud implementations for leading Healthcare & Life Sciences clients, including Abbott Labs. We are seeking an expert in Veeva Vault PromoMats who can lead technical strategy, design scalable solutions, and engage senior stakeholders to drive digital transformation across regulated promotional content processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architecture and engineering efforts for Veeva Vault PromoMats, including lifecycle, workflow, and metadata configuration

  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, workshops, and solution demonstrations

  • Architect integrations between Veeva Vault and enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, MedComms, RIM, DAM)

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (21 CFR Part 11, GxP) throughout solution delivery

  • Translate complex client needs into technical specifications and scalable solutions

  • Guide document/data migration and environment management (SBX, Test, Production)

  • Stay updated on Veeva product releases and lead adoption of new capabilities

  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal best practices and accelerators

  • Deliver client presentations and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) with clarity and business alignment

  • Leverage IBM Consulting Advantage and related assets in solution design

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Veeva Vault experience, including PromoMats and at least two full-cycle implementations

  • In-depth knowledge of MLR workflows, modular content, and regulatory compliance

  • Prior consulting experience with Life Sciences or Healthcare clients

  • Strong integration experience using APIs, middleware, data migration tools

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Veeva Certifications: Vault Platform Administrator, Vault CRM Administrator, or equivalent

  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

  • Experience with Agile methodology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional Veeva certifications (e.g., MedComms, DAM, Claims)

  • Background in ETL, SQL, Web Services, Salesforce, IQVIA, or data warehousing

  • Familiarity with HIPAA, GxP, and secure healthcare data handling

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Self-starter capable of leading through complexity and ambiguity
