IBM Mainframe Administrator:
Systems Programmer and Administrator - Is involved with mainframe support including the installing, customizing, and maintain the operating system, installing and upgrading software running on the system.
Senior 85+ months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
48 months experience supporting mainframe software specific to z/OS operating system.
48 months experience managing z/OS security certificates, account administration with RACF, and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
36 months experience installing, configuring and supporting IBM JCL, CICS, CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG), MQ on z/OS, IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS)
36 months experience working with IBM DB2.
36 months experience working COBOL programming on IBM z/OS mainframes. Experience should include monitoring production work including systems analysis and design, program compiles, unit and integrated testing, performing global changes in COBOL/JCL environment, modify JCL and Procs.
36 months experience monitoring production work and performing error diagnostic/debugging activities in a mainframe environment, reviewing system logs, debugging mainframe errors.
. First week of work is required to be onsite in Albany, remaining will be remote.
