Product Manager(Duck Creek)

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Duration: 12 Months +

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Functional expertise: Maintain and grow a deep knowledge of the organization and stakeholder needs and constraints.
  • Analytical: Ensure product plans are aligned with the organization s strategic goals; rationalize and manage a product backlog.
  • Team oriented: Maintain strong relationships with key business partners (including but not limited to our external technology partner, internal parties, and key stakeholders) to ensure technical solutions align with the product s vision.
  • Advocate: Be an advocate for your product; articulate the customer and business value to all levels of the organization senior leadership particularly.
  • Inspiring: Develop compelling presentations and prototypes to communicate your product vision to various audiences in leadership and across the organization; and ensure key stakeholders are aware of and aligned with plans.
  • Leader: Lead the team to successfully prioritize opportunities and obtain actionable insights through research.
  • Innovative: Drive collaborative innovation throughout the team to identify unique solutions to complex problems.
  • Thinks Big Picture: Create and enhance guidelines, policies, practices, and procedures to make improvements to internal product management processes; partner with team members to identify areas of opportunity and determine best practices.

Skills:

  • Duck Creek Insurance Product (MANDATORY SKILL)
  • Ability to work on your own and within a team with minimal oversight.
  • Able to easily motivate and inspire team members, peers, and stakeholders.
  • Analytical, ability to analyze problems at root level and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in managing the entire product lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing a product backlog and roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and articulate product value propositions.
  • Experience with other learning management systems.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in product management.
  • Masters or bachelor s in leadership, product management, Auto Insurance Domain (HUGE PLUS).
  • Previous experience successfully leading a cross-functional team and direct reports.
  • Experience working with customers and developers to indicate clients needs through user stories.
  • Certifications relating to leadership, IT, product development or similar preferred.
  • Experience in managing the entire product lifecycle.
