ETL Developer / Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain ELT processes to extract, load, and transform data from various sources (SQL, Flat files, XMLs etc.) into target data warehouses or analytics platforms by performing complex transformations.
• Create, optimize, and manage database tables, schemas, indexes, and partitions to support ETL workflows.
• Integrate and manage API connectivity, including REST API, to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Informatica and SSIS or Skyvia tools.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML data processing. Utilize REST API for real-time data access, dynamic communication, and efficient integration between systems.
• Perform unit testing and support QA with test case creation and defect resolution.
• Implement best practices for database design, data administration, and ETL development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for data processes, workflows, and systems.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security across all BI solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, transformation, and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in ELT development and data integration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with API connectivity and integration.
• Proficiency in Informatica, SSIS/Skyvia, and stored procedures for data workflows and pipelines.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts, data analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud-based BI platforms and tools.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation.
