Needs strong Cisco routers, switches, firewalls ASA

Strong in Firewalls - swapping over from Cisco to Palo firewall -someone super strong in Cisco firewall and voice
Strong in Routers
Must be able to interface and manage work of 3rd party engineers that are doing the conversion

Manager notes - Need Network Administrator candidates that have heavy Firewall experience . Meaning they can configure firewalls, not just troubleshoot them.
Heavy Cisco experience as well. ASA experience. Will be troubleshooting networks so experience doing that on the frontline good comm. Is required.

Description:
The Network Analyst, for CLIENT Corporation will be a member of CLIENT's IT - Global Networking team at the company's Houston, office reporting to the Manager - Network Services
This position will work within CLIENT's operations team to support CLIENT's enterprise network and contribute to projects when needed requiring network expertise.

The successful candidate will be able to:
* Act as a resource for reported network performance or application performance issues
* Manage and support the network monitoring and configuration management software
* Provide technical support for field networks to include industrial switches, routers, and wireless bridges
* Utilize CLIENT's service portal to manage and create service requests, outages, and change requests
* Identify innovative ways to utilize existing applications and technologies
* Forecast and coordinate management of change for scheduled maintenance weekends
* Effectively communicate with end users and peers around the world

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
* Troubleshooting experience with large enterprises
* Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to clearly articulate complex issues
* Customer interfacing capabilities
* Experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewall and wireless hardware
* Experience with SolarWinds Network Management suite of applications
* Experience with Riverbed WAN optimization appliance, Cascade and Net Profiler is a plus
* Experience with Gigamon, Wireshark and packet level analysis and application performance root cause analysis is a plus
* Experience using Splunk to help with troubleshooting is a plus
* Experience troubleshooting EIGRP, BGP, Firewalls, IPSEC/SSL VPNs, Spanning tree and network security
* Experienced with software defined networking
* Experience with Cisco Client/NAC is a plus
* Working knowledge of Cisco Collaboration products
* Experience working in Oil and Gas Industry - specifically with field support technicians
