Job Title: Information Security Engineer III

Job Summary
The Information Security Engineer III is responsible for supporting daily security operations while ensuring the availability, integrity, and compliance of security and networking infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems across platforms such as WAF, Bot mitigation tools, API gateways, CDN, ALB, TLS certificates, and caching services. The engineer will work closely with application teams to integrate secure solutions, monitor threats, investigate incidents, and enforce policies.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, install, and maintain security systems in line with security policies.
  • Configure and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Bot mitigation platforms, API gateways, certificates, proxies, logging, and related security devices.
  • Analyze network traffic for malicious activity or misconfigurations, applying custom mitigations when required.
  • Collaborate with application teams to securely integrate CDN, WAF, Bot protection, ALB, TLS certificate management, and caching solutions.
  • Generate and review anomaly reports to strengthen incident detection.
  • Raise security awareness and develop operational procedures.
  • Define security requirements and review systems for compliance with established standards.
  • Assess business needs, research emerging solutions, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong experience in information security infrastructure support and operations.
  • Hands-on expertise in computer security, risk analysis, audit, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with security practices, software, hardware, and web vulnerability management.
  • CISSP certification preferred.
