Job Description:

GDIT has a great opportunity for a Cyber Security Lead supporting a major Department of Defense (DoD) customer to provide information sharing capabilities. The ideal candidate has a technical/engineering and management background and experience providing information sharing services across a global IT enterprise. You will be working in a rewarding, mission focused environment, leading a cyber security team providing transformational IT services across a hybrid, multi-cloud enterprise. This position may require some travel.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads all Cyber Security matters for government capability.
  • Leads a cross-functional team of ISSOs and Information Security Analyst professionals covering areas of vulnerability management, defensive cyber operations, and security incident management.
  • Organizes, directs, and manages contract cyber operation support functions involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
  • Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to develop efficiencies.
  • Completes all required RMF documents.
  • Completes all Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) activities and essential artifact actions.
  • Adheres to all DoD MPE AO and ISSM requirements and deliverables.
  • Completes ACAS scans, patches, and updates.
  • Completes all required POA&M actions and necessary RMF documentation/actions)
  • Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
  • Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review plans and deliverables.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in Information Systems Operations, CS including ten (10) years demonstrated support in the areas of systems, networks and applications analysis directly related to DoD or IC CS/INFOSEC, Cyber Defense (CD), Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementations.
  • 5+ years of experience in defining information systems security programs or processes for the protection of sensitive or classified information.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in three or more of the following areas: RMF; Defensive Cyber Operations; security engineering; CS planning and management; DevSecOps; CS requirements and security controls analysis; CS operations within a multinational (e.g., NATO) information processing environment; Penetration testing; and CS architecture and design.
  • Must have current hands-on experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
  • Must meet the Knowledge, Skills, Ability, and Tasks requirements listed in DODM 8140.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially in a client interaction context.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, IT and/or cyber systems security or computer science. Master's degree in related field a plus. Must meet the ISSO education requirements of DODM 8140 Cyber Workforce Framework.

The likely salary range for this position is $161,158 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
