Finance Workstream Lead Global Oracle ERP Cloud Implementation
We are seeking an experienced Finance Workstream Lead to oversee a multi-year, global Oracle ERP Cloud transformation program within the Energy sector (Oilfield Services / Oil & Gas / Energy Services). This is a leadership role, responsible for directing the design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization of finance capabilities across a complex technical landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Finance workstream across 10 core Oracle ERP Finance modules (including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Accounting, intercompany, and lease accounting).
Partner closely with parallel HCM and SCM workstreams to ensure cross-functional alignment and integrated solution delivery.
Drive the project lifecycle solution design, system configuration, data migration/data cleansing (in partnership with the tech team), integration design, testing, go-live, and hypercare support.
Manage a diverse international team of functional consultants, business analysts, and technical specialists, ensuring delivery excellence and adherence to project timelines.
Serve as the primary client-facing liaison for Finance, building trusted executive relationships and acting as a key advisor on business transformation.
Oversee and mitigate program risks, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry compliance, and global regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with the change management team on change impacts and training.
Required Experience & Skills
Extensive experience leading large-scale Oracle ERP Cloud Finance implementations, preferably across multiple geographies.
Strong Energy sector / Oilfield Services background, with deep understanding of industry-specific financial processes, reporting requirements, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and establish credibility as a trusted advisor.
Strong project and people management skills
Flexibility to travel as required usually 50% (typically Monday Thursday to Houston, TX; preference for candidates based locally).
