Job Description
- Carry out technical Information Assurance (IA) in accordance with internal Lockheed Martin and customer security requirements, primarily Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Develop system documentation for information system authorization, security management, and continuous monitoring (CONMON) of both networked and standalone information systems (e.g., Authorization To Operate (ATO), System Security Plan (SSP), Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAM), etc.).
- Develop and/or consult on technical solutions to complex problems which require extensive technical expertise and ingenuity.
- Upkeep, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.
- Collaborate with program security, cyber management, senior level internal (i.e. Program Managers) and external customers (i.e. government Security Control Assessors (SCAs)), as well as other applicable stakeholders to identify requirements and provide problem resolution i.e. balancing customer demands with security compliance.
- Ensure that selected security controls are implemented and operating as intended during all phases of the information systems lifecycle.
- Provide security monitoring for the infrastructure in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) requirements by utilizing cybersecurity tools (e.g. vulnerability scanners, Security Information and Even Management (SIEMs), etc.)
- Perform system auditing, vulnerability risk assessments, assured file transfers, hardware/software configuration management, data integrity containments, media management, and investigations on information assurance related security violations/incidents.
- Participate in the implementation of current and future security domains (e.g. DevSecOps, AI, Cloud Computing etc.)
- Provide cybersecurity education and training for all system users on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Perform other associated duties as required.
Basic Qualifications
DoD 8570 approved baseline certification for IAM
Level I (ie CompTIA Security+, CAP, GSLC, etc.)
Experience leveraging security tools such as
Splunk, Nessus, McAfee, Ivanti, ACAS, etc.
Experience as an ISSO implementing or
managing cyber security requirements on
classified systems under JSIG, NISPOM, ICD
503, and/or CNSSI 1253.
Experience with Windows Operating Systems
and Windows Domain infrastructure (i.e.,
Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, Group Policy
Objects, Active Directory, etc.)
Desired skills
- Experience with: Nessus Security Center, McAfee EPO, STIGs, etc
- Experience with NISPOM and RMF certification and accreditation processes
- Experience working with classified information systems.
- Ability to work independently without appreciable direction
- Keen attention to detail and adherence to established security policies
- eMASS experience
- Prior ISSO/ISSM experience
- Understanding of networking concepts and cybersecurity related tools to include, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and vulnerability scanners.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
