Job Details
Position :: Senior Cloud Architect
Location :: Seattle, WA/San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Role Summary:
Seeking a client-facing Senior Cloud Architect with deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or DigitalOcean).The architect will lead the design, modernization, and migration of enterprise cloud solutions, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform; DigitalOcean exposure preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Git-based pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking (VPC, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancers).
- Proficient in Golang, Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting.
- Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics).
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Stackdriver, DO Monitoring).
- Deep knowledge of networking, security, scalability, and resiliency in cloud systems.
- Experience designing and optimizing AI-powered distributed cloud systems.
- Microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and gRPC-based communication.
- Experience with Linux systems (primarily Ubuntu).
- Exposure to DigitalOcean's observability platform (VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Alertmanager, Elasticsearch) is a plus.
- Experience in client workshops, RFPs/RFIs, and solutioning for large deals is advantageous.
