Organizational Change Manager / Communications Manager
Chicago, Illinois, Need Locals

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Change and Communications Manager to join our team and serve as the strategic communications partner for our clients "Secure Mobile Program." This is a critical, high-visibility initiative focused on enhancing the security of over 100,000 mobile devices across our global operations. You'll be the central point of contact for tracking progress, managing communication, and ensuring stakeholders and end-users are aligned and informed during a period of significant technical and policy change.

You will work in close partnership with our Endpoint Engineering Project Manager, Hardware & Mobility Engineer, and Mobile Release Manager to translate complex technical plans into clear, actionable communications that minimize disruption and maximize user adoption

Job Requirements -

  • Proven experience in a project coordination, change management, and communications role, within a technical or IT environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable communications for various audiences.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management and the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) or IT security projects is a plus.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) is preferred.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
Change Management & Communications Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication and change management plan to support the rollout of new security policies and technical initiatives,
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the technical program team and a wide range of stakeholders, including global procurement, finance, airport operations, and frontline employees.
  • Content Creation & Management: Create and distribute clear, concise, and timely communications, including emails, presentations, internal announcements, user guides, and FAQs. You will translate the technical work of the engineering team into user-friendly documentation and training materials.
  • Coordination & Collaboration: Work in lockstep with the Mobile Release Manager to coordinate release schedules with business teams and ensure all communications are timed perfectly to coincide with deployments.
  • Project Support: Partner with the Endpoint Engineering Project Manager to track key milestones and action items across ~15 smaller projects and workstreams, ensuring all activities are organized and aligned with the overarching program goals.
Vendor and User Support:
Help build and communicate new processes for vendors to acquire mobile devices, managing expectations and addressing potential increases in device demand.
