IT Production Engineer

Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various departments and international teams. We seek a dedicated individual experienced in software and database management for large engineering teams, adept at supporting backend systems on cloud platforms. Your role will involve leveraging technology for automation, focusing on data management and continuous integration/deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance automated build, test, and deployment workflows continuously.


• Collaborate with system administrators to ensure seamless services during application releases.


• Coordinate with the development team for version control and conflict resolution.


• Monitor systems and applications during business hours, reporting status and escalating issues as needed.


• Collaborate with client services and back-office operations to resolve production application issues.


• Document, track, and address client incidents in the ticketing system promptly.


• Provide support for ad-hoc needs in database systems.


• May work on the 2nd and 3rd shifts to support global trading systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, technology, or a related field.


• Minimum 1 year of experience in the IT industry.


• Proficiency with MySQL and/or NoSQL databases and their management tools.


• Basic programming understanding in Java, Spring.


• Familiarity with Linux OS, containers (Kubernetes), and message queue applications (Kafka).


• Wide-ranging knowledge of AWS cloud-based technologies.


• Self-motivated with excellent multitasking skills.


• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.


• Familiarity with configuration management is advantageous.


• Previous experience in broker-dealer/fin-tech industries is a plus.


• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
