Position: Senior Lab Manager

Location: Mountain View, CA

Duration of the project : 12 Months

Innominds client is hiring a Senior LAB Manager for our network implementation team. Reporting directly to the Director of Network Implementation, the selected candidate will develop and manage LAB infrastructure and network components. The role includes designing, implementing, and monitoring LAB infrastructure for engineering and test teams. This is a terrific opportunity for a candidate who wants to make a visible impact in the dynamic environment of an early-stage startup focused on an exploding market segment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of engineering labs for Wireless and general hardware validation
• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure for test benches, racks, power, and RF containment
• Plan, build and maintain structured cabling systems (RF, fiber, USB & Coaxial) with best practices
• Create dashboards and alerts to proactively manage lab health and prevent equipment downtime
• Maintain an organized inventory of RF and test equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzer, and signal generators
• Coordinate audits, safety drills, and equipment certifications
• Provide technical support to engineers and test teams in the setup, teardown, and debugging of test environments
• Serve as the main point of contact for lab access, security, and issue escalation
• Plan infrastructure upgrades and lab expansion projects
• Manage rack layouts, cooling paths, and patch panel allocations.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in managing engineering or RF lab environments
• Expertise in RF test setups, cabling systems, rack installation, and lab infrastructure monitoring
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitLAB.
• Familiar with RF Systems, 5G or Satellite communications
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and optimization skills across infrastructure and network layers.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills in cross-functional environments.
