Mechanical Engineer, Pressure Vessel - Tulsa, OK About the Role
System One is working with a client to find a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in pressure vessel and static equipment design.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop equipment specifications and layout drawings in accordance with internal standards, international codes, customer requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Independently manage mechanical equipment orders, coordinating with purchasing, project management, and other departments.
  • Create purchasing specifications and requisitions.
  • Review and validate technical documents from suppliers and customers.
  • Support project management in ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically pressure vessels and static equipment
  • Proficiency in ASME Design Code VIII - Division 1
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting customer requirements and developing responsive design solutions
Preferred Experience
  • Background in chemical, pharmaceutical, or oil & gas industries
