Job Description:

Position: IAM Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid 2 days onsite - either Tempe Arizona or Chicago

Duration: 7-month contract - potential for extension/conversion

Pay Rate: $63/hr. + Health insurance benefits

Overview:

Northern Trust's Global Brokerage is looking for a Business Analyst to join its team. This individual, as part of an Agile development team, will be responsible for business analysis, requirements, design of custom-developed applications, as well as vendor management, assuring that all business and technical requirements are being met.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate status (written and verbal) to relevant stakeholders as required.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the business, its technology vendors, and the development team
  • Evaluate opportunities to implement technological enhancements to improve the efficiency of the business
  • Develop recommendations for vended versus in-house developed solutions
  • Provide guidance on technological solutions for new product offerings
  • Interface with technology development teams both onshore and offshore to design solutions to meet the needs of the business
  • Advocate for business support as new technological solutions are being developed
  • Troubleshoot support issues with vendors and the in-house support team as needed
  • Complete the necessary risk management oversight of all vended applications


Qualifications:
  • Agile Methodology
  • Familiarity with Risk and Compliance
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least 6 years of related experience as a project team member, of which at least two years have been in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of
  • Proven know-how and in-depth experience in Identity and Access management Fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical skills focusing on SQL queries, Agile, Azure, Spreadsheets, etc.
  • Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A positive goal-oriented attitude with a focus on delivery
  • Knowledge of IAM Products like Sailpoint, Savyint, and Okta is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Python 2.7+, Oracle, SQL Server
  • Azure DevOps for defect and backlog management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals

  • Role Based Access management & Separation of Duties
  • Privileged Access Management
