The Impact you will have in this role:

The Product Management Associate is responsible for translating the product vision into squad deliverables to achieve the product strategy, aligned with improving value to the client. This is done through managing scope and product backlog in collaboration with the multiple squads, Product Manager, clients (internal/external) and key customers.

The position requires keen business analysis and communication skills to draft and present business requirements to both internal and external customers for ratification. The candidate must be proficient in depicting and describing business impact assessments between current-state and various future state business models. The position entails leading multiple internal customer meetings and representing Financial Risk & Governance's business in various forums on projects and new initiatives. The role also requires facilitating and leading external working groups composed of major industry participants that help advise on requirements and design options.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in developing project plans, including task assignment, prioritization, and forecasting, ensuring that all aspects are covered comprehensively.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed project documentation, such as timelines, reports, and meeting minutes, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Monitoring project progress diligently and identifying any potential issues or risks that could impede the successful completion of the project.
  • Ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget by carefully supervising achievements and expenditures.
  • Assisting with resource allocation by actively managing and ensuring that all necessary resources are available at the right time.
  • Coordinating with team members and customers to ensure smooth project execution through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Managing project budgets meticulously and tracking all expenses to avoid any financial discrepancies.
  • Communicating project updates and status to customers regularly to keep them informed and engaged.
  • Facilitating meetings and ensuring effective communication within the project team to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure their continued support and involvement.
  • Identifying and addressing potential project risks and issues proactively to minimize their impact on the project's success.
  • Developing and implementing mitigation strategies that are tailored to address specific risks and issues as they arise.
  • Advancing critical issues to the project manager or senior management promptly to ensure they are addressed effectively.
  • Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards by conducting thorough reviews and quality assurance activities.
  • Participating in quality assurance activities to identify and address any quality issues before they become major problems.
  • Identifying and addressing quality issues as they arise to maintain the highest standards of project deliverables.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Agile/scrum methodology, including defining a minimal viable product, and exposure to other software development methodologies.


Talents Needed for Success:
  • Exhibits strong understanding of Agile Software Development (primarily Scrum and Kanban) principles and techniques.
  • Understands and uses applicable work management tools (i.e. JIRA) for decision making and collaboration.
  • Drives creative and solution-oriented activity with all participants and customers
  • Knowledge of financial services operations and risk management; clearance and settlement, post trade processing, counterparty credit risk, & associated regulation,trends and user demands in these areas.
  • Complete the Product Vision and effectively translates into Product Roadmap and Backlog items to deliver the highest value.
  • Collaborate with product management peers globally to ensure standard process and core principals are understood, adopted and implemented in regional initiatives.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
