Job Title: Security Tester Full-time (H1B/OPT Accepted)

Location: Austin, TX (Remote)

Duration: Long Term

We're searching for a skilled Security Tester to assess and validate the security of our software applications and systems. You'll collaborate with developers, security teams, and product managers to ensure that our products meet the highest security standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct security testing, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews.
  • Identify and document security vulnerabilities and provide actionable remediation steps.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Develop and maintain automated security testing scripts and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
  • Perform security audits and risk assessments to evaluate the security posture of applications and systems.
  • Work with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.
  • Document and report security findings to stakeholders, providing clear recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Security Tester or in a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of security testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, Metasploit, Burp Suite).
  • Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and ethical hacking.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for security testing.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and common security vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS).
  • Experience with cloud security and testing cloud-based applications is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, OSCP) are a plus.
