Sr. Ruby on Rails Developer

Location: Mountain View, CA / New York City, NY (Hybrid)
Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Job Summary:
We are hiring experienced Ruby on Rails developers to contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. You ll work alongside product managers, tech leads, and architects to build scalable, AI-first product features.

Responsibilities:

  • Be hands-on with 70 85% of your time focused on coding.

  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and write technical documentation.

  • Contribute to DevOps efforts including CI/CD pipelines and deployments.

  • Build and integrate AI-first and generative AI-first product experiences.

  • Estimate, plan, and implement robust software solutions.

  • Identify and resolve technical challenges and dependencies.

Qualifications:

  • 8 to 10 years of hands-on development experience, preferably in SaaS environments.

  • Strong in Ruby on Rails, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes.

  • Experience with test automation: unit, integration, functional, and e2e.

  • Familiarity with AWS or Heroku-based deployments.

  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience with monitoring/debugging tools like Splunk or Wavefront.

  • Prior exposure to AI/ML or Applied AI projects is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Interview Process:

  • Initial Screening: Virtual/Phone

  • Technical Rounds: Virtual (1 2 rounds)

  • Final Round: Face-to-Face (Mandatory) must be open to attending an in-person interview in Mountain View, CA or New York City, NY, depending on location.
