Description
We are seeking a dedicated Low Voltage Electrical Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, servicing, testing, and repair of electrical and electromechanical equipment. This role involves working on customer premises and signal receiving centers, ensuring all components are properly connected and operational.

Must have a mastery knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion systems; fire is also needed for this position.

Must have a mastery knowledge of test equipment, such as multimeters, battery analyzers and decibel meters.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.

We are seeking a dedicated Low Voltage Electrical Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, servicing, testing, and repair of electrical and electromechanical equipment. This role involves working on customer premises and signal receiving centers, ensuring all components are properly connected and operational.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, dismantling, and reconstruction of electrical equipment.
- Make necessary connections and adjustments as directed.
- Test the operation of all system components to ensure proper service.
- Evaluate job information, layout customer premises, and determine practical routes for cable, conduit, and wiring.
- Report defective materials or equipment and any inaccuracies in job information.
- Follow safety practices to prevent injury and property damage.
- Safeguard against loss of materials, tools, and equipment on job sites.
- Clean up debris from installations and patch drill holes.
- Occasionally take service calls depending on skill level.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with low voltage systems such as CCTV, Cat6, access control, security systems, fire alarms, and more.
- Ability to run conduit, pull wire, change motors, and maintain lighting systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify hazards or malfunctions.
- Ability to work in various environments, including extreme weather conditions and manufacturing settings.
