Job Summary

The role of the EPICOR admin is to provide excellent technology infrastructure for our business. This role will be responsible for overall management of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software; creating annual and project budgets; managing the IT staff, ensuring IT systems are secure and reliable; and supporting the company s EPICOR ERP system.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the organization's IT infrastructure and oversee strategic and operational planning to achieve business
  • Develop and implement IT policies, cybersecurity initiatives and best practice guides for the
  • Design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems to ensure project deadlines are
  • Work closely with the team to discuss system capacity, equipment life cycle, and other considerations of long-term system
  • Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and Maintain IT budget and forecast for future IT equipment budget.
  • Develop IT and ERP solutions by troubleshooting and direct research on potential technology solutions to increase cost
  • Support the company's Epicor ERP system by providing training, drive improvement projects and assist in improving ERP process
  • Manage IT team which includes hiring, training, initiating disciplinary action and performance management using KPIs/
  • Other duties as assigned, needed, or required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related
  • Proven working experience as an IT manager and EPICOR ERP or relevant
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT infrastructure (cybersecurity).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft (MS) Office and IT management
  • Strong leadership skills with exceptional decision-making communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented operating style with effective interpersonal skills that allow successful business interactions with individuals of all leadership styles, personalities, and career.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Seven or more years distribution component sales experience and/or a minimum of 5 years experience in technical sales of electro-mechanical components and systems for semiconductor equipment market, preferably with exposure to industrial automation
  • Experience in building IT frameworks from the ground
  • Functional and/or technical awareness
  • Familiar with KPIs/Performance Data.
  • Proficient in Epicor Prophet 21.
