Overview:

We are seeking a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer who will support the State of New York on IT projects. The role involves building and maintaining enterprise applications using .NET, Angular, and SQL technologies, in collaboration with technical teams to meet project goals.

Duties:

  • Translate business requirements and use cases into enterprise applications.

  • Perform unit testing of developed applications.

  • Collaborate with technical leads and architects to transform high- and low-level system designs into technical components.

  • Develop applications based on technical requirements, design, and architecture principles and standards.

  • Build reusable code and libraries for platform and shared services.

  • Produce work products and applications that align with system design, business needs, and the project plan.

  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Developer.

  • 7+ years of experience in utilizing a variety of technologies and frameworks to achieve project goals, adapting to new tools as necessary with hands-on experience in full stack development, using modern OO programming languages (.NET C# preferably) for Web Services, Database, or web application development.

  • 7+ years of experience in developing and maintaining applications using distributed version control (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git, SonarQube) including experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery techniques

  • 5+ years of experience developing with .NET Core, .NET 6, .NET 8.

  • 7+ years of developing web applications utilizing MVC Patterns

  • 5+ years of developing web applications utilizing Angular.

  • 5+ years' experience developing, building, and testing Java EE applications using modern IDE's.

  • 5+ years of Experience Performing database operations, optimization, and maintenance using SQL Server

  • 5+ years of Experience Performing database operations, optimization, and maintenance using Oracle

  • 3+ years of Domain knowledge and experience in health and human services, especially in Integrated Eligibility System programs such as PA, TA, SNAP, HEAP, Fair Hearings, Child Support, etc.

  • 4+ years of experience with Web APIs and JSON.

  • Masters/ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
