Job Overview:
The Retail Logistics Manager will work cross-functionally with teams such as Facilities, and others to manage logistics operations for store development and new product introductions. This role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and a relentless focus on flawless execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, influence, and execute project logistics plans for store builds and fleet-wide rollouts.
  • Forecast, analyze, and meet cost, schedule, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee carrier performance in planning and execution of project deliverables, cost management, audits, benchmarking, and rate negotiations.

Role Specific Summary:
The Retail Logistics team is a highly motivated, fast-paced, and dynamic organization responsible for logistics operations in the Americas region and worldwide. Operating in a cross-functional environment with both internal and external partners, the team supports the construction, preservation, and operations of stores worldwide, ensuring financial, service, and schedule targets are met while adhering to compliance guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree.
  • 8 to 10 years of logistics industry experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Ability to travel and support teams in multiple time zones.
  • Experience managing global logistics rollouts to meet project schedules and cost targets.
  • Ability to publish, maintain, and enforce vendor route guides.
  • Experience inspecting and auditing project sites and warehouses for readiness and compliance.
  • Proficiency in freight cost audits and payment processes.

Technical Competence:
  • Knowledge of multi-modal, domestic/international/local transportation.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with incoterms, HTS, DG, and export/import requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing operational plans to support pilots and project rollouts from select stores to entire fleets.
  • Ability to create project scope documents for logistics bidding processes.
  • Experience onboarding new vendors for logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in developing and enforcing standards, guidelines, and policies for packaging, documentation, communications, and reporting.
  • Experience conducting RFP/RFQ activities to support projects and ongoing operations.
  • Ability to select and manage carrier performance to meet set goals and objectives.
  • Experience administering carrier contracts and rate agreements.
  • Ability to review material vendor agreements for best practices in incoterms and logistics.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative solutions for special projects.

Pay Range: $65 - $70

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
