Title: Computer Vision / Machine Learning Engineer
Location: Orlando, FL or Glendale/Los Angeles, CA
Hybrid - 2x days/week onsite (subject to change)
Pay: $70/hr - $80/hr on W2
Contract: W2; 6 months contract (possibility of extension or conversion)
Client: Fortune 50 Company

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Computer Vision Pipeline Engineer to help build, experiment with, and deploy cutting-edge computer vision models. This role combines deep learning expertise with infrastructure engineering to create scalable training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines for real-world CV use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy large-scale CV models (YOLO, OWL) with optimized performance and efficiency.
  • Design and implement training and deployment frameworks (Kubernetes, Ubuntu).
  • Conduct hyperparameter tuning and large-model optimization.
  • Build tools for model evaluation, tracking, and monitoring within MLOps workflows.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate CV models into production pipelines.
  • Stay up to date with the latest in CV research (foundation models, prompt-based detection).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong Python coding and deep learning (PyTorch) experience.
  • Expertise with object detection models - YOLO, OWL.
  • Experience deploying models via Kubernetes, Docker, AWS SageMaker.
  • MLOps familiarity: MLflow, Weights & Biases, etc.
  • Proficiency in Ubuntu/Linux for ML/AI deployment.
  • Proven experience with hyperparameter tuning of large models.
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in CS, ML, or related field (PhD a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with real-time inference and edge deployment: TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, Jetson.
  • Familiarity with distributed training systems.
  • Exposure to event-driven microservices and scalable architectures.
