Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional manual testing, UI and API integration testing, and a solid background in eCommerce platforms (B2B/B2C). You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through both manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional manual testing of web and API-based applications.
  • Execute UI and API integration testing to validate end-to-end functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright.
  • Perform API testing using Postman and/or Rest Assured.
  • Build and utilize mock services for API/services testing.
  • Utilize JIRA and associated test management tools for defect tracking and reporting.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration test mocks using Mockito or similar frameworks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of test strategies, methodologies, and processes.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, with emphasis on functional manual and automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience in eCommerce environments (B2B/B2C).
  • Proficiency in Selenium or Playwright for test automation.
  • Strong skills in API testing tools like Postman and Rest Assured.
  • Experience with building and using mock services for testing purposes.
  • Familiarity with test management in JIRA or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of unit testing and mocking frameworks, especially Mockito.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in CI/CD environments.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
