Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all aspects of maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement for a large-scale food manufacturing facility. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Facility Maintenance & Operations: Oversee maintenance, repair, and upgrades of facility systems and equipment. Manage vendor relationships and control costs.

Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of direct and indirect maintenance personnel to ensure operational excellence.

Budget & Performance Management: Monitor and meet maintenance-related metrics, including cost and budget adherence.

Compliance & Safety: Implement and enforce safety programs, ensuring compliance with USDA, HACCP, and other relevant regulatory standards.

Project Oversight: Manage major rebuilds and coordinate with vendors for effective execution of maintenance projects.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Maintenance, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

7+ years of progressive maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment (food processing preferred).

Proven experience managing a shift or entire maintenance operation.

Strong financial acumen with experience in maintenance cost analysis.

In-depth knowledge of HACCP, USDA sanitation, and pre-operation guidelines.

1-3 years of refrigeration and electrical systems experience.
Skills & Certifications (Required):

Experience managing staff (Direct and Indirect).

Master-level practical knowledge of general maintenance: welding, pneumatics, wiring, motor controls, PLCs.

Must be hands-on and able to mentor and train staff on the plant floor.
