BCforward is currently seeking an initiative-taking Cloud / DevOps Engineer for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC

Position Title: Cloud / DevOps Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: Expected 12-Month.

Job Type: CONTRACT, (Hybrid)

Monday- Friday (5x8)

Candidate who is authorized to work independently

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per-diem, etc).

Job Description:

*Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills

*Jenkins or other CI system

*Cloud Engineering(cloud computing) experience with Openshift,AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform

*Design and maintain CI/CD process and tools

*Docker experience with Kubernetes container orchestration

*Experience with yaml config management tools like Helm/Ansible

*Setting up monitoring and alerts

*Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

*Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues

*Experience with Agile processes.
