Job Details

Purpose:The purpose of this engagement is to acquire IT consulting services to support the implementation of the Continuum Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution. The hospital system is seeking four (4) experienced Software Engineers to contribute to the successful deployment, integration, and optimization of the EHR platform.

Position Overview: As a Software Engineer consultant, you will play a key role in the design, development, integration, and support of the Continuum EHR solution. This includes leading efforts in application architecture, cloud migration, system integration, and healthcare data security, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and customization of the Continuum EHR system.

  • Develop and maintain applications using C# .NET and Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Power Apps.

  • Lead and mentor team members in application design and technical execution.

  • Drive cloud migration from on-premises environments to Azure Cloud, following best practices.

  • Ensure secure handling of Protected Health Information (PHI), applying strong data governance practices.

  • Integrate EHR systems with other platforms using industry-standard APIs and integration toolsets.

  • Provide technical coaching on cloud adoption and modernization frameworks.

  • Contribute to application rationalization, lifecycle management, and risk management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in electronic data processing systems design, development, and programming.

  • 3+ years in a lead technical role.

  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with C# .NET.

  • 3+ years of experience with Dynamics CRM and/or Power Apps.

  • 2+ years of experience with cloud migration projects.

  • 3+ years of experience with data protection/security best practices, especially related to PHI.

  • 3+ years of experience using integration toolsets and APIs.

  • 5+ years of experience including:

    • Leading technical teams

    • Coaching/training for cloud and modernization transitions

  • 2+ years of experience in EHR system integration.

  • 3+ years of experience working with Azure Cloud.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments.

  • Knowledge of healthcare IT standards and compliance (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
