Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Senior Consultant to join our team in Traverse City, Michigan. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will oversee and drive the successful execution of restoration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This position requires strong leadership, negotiation, and estimation skills, along with the ability to build and maintain industry relationships.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire lifecycle of restoration projects, from initiation to final delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Travel to job sites to manage on-site operations and ensure project requirements are being fulfilled.
Develop accurate cost estimates and negotiate terms with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project coordination and effective resource allocation.
Maintain strong relationships with industry professionals to support project goals and identify new opportunities.
Utilize project management tools, such as Jira and Agile Scrum methodologies, to track progress and address challenges.
Monitor and manage project budgets, making adjustments as necessary to control costs and maximize efficiency.
Implement change management processes to address unexpected issues and keep projects on track.
Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations throughout all project phases.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the restoration or related industry.
Strong skills in cost estimation, negotiation, and supplier/vendor management.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, including Jira and Agile Scrum.
Knowledge of ERP systems, CRM platforms, and cloud technologies.
Ability to travel to job sites as required to oversee project execution.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships within the industry.
Strong understanding of budget management and change management processes.
