We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and engineering for cutting-edge pharmaceutical and advanced manufacturing facilities. Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and engineering for cutting-edge pharmaceutical and advanced manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, oversee design teams, perform quality reviews, and collaborate directly with clients and contractors to deliver high-quality construction documents.
Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering design for medium and low voltage power distribution, UPS/Generators, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, security, PA, telecom, and heat trace systems.
- Perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, protective coordination, and arc flash analysis.
- Prepare and review construction documents, technical specifications, and bid packages.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA 70 (NEC) and other applicable codes and standards.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
- Collaborate with clients, owners, and contractors during design and construction phases.
- Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM tools for design and documentation.
- Conduct quality control reviews and participate in project meetings and proposals.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana or ability to obtain.
- Minimum 15 years of electrical engineering design experience for buildings.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and industrial electrical systems.
- Proficiency in power system analysis software (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Life Sciences or advanced manufacturing facility design.
- Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software.
- Familiarity with GMP environments and cleanroom design.
