About the Role

Join our fast-growing trading company as we modernize our data infrastructure! We're seeking a hands-on Database/Cloud Engineer to lead the consolidation of 11 SQL Server instances into a unified Azure cloud platform. This is a high-impact role where you'll be the primary architect and implementer of our database modernization initiative.

What You'll Build

• Migrate and consolidate 11 SQL Server databases to Azure SQL Database/Managed Instance
• Design and implement Azure Data Factory pipelines for seamless data integration
• Architect modern database solutions using Azure's latest data platform services
• Automate deployments using DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Optimize performance of high-volume trading data systems

What We're Looking For

Technical Must-Haves:

• Hands-on Azure experience - you've personally built and deployed Azure SQL databases
• Azure Data Factory expertise - you've created complex ETL/ELT pipelines yourself
• SQL Server to Azure migration experience - you've led actual migration projects
• Modern deployment practices - CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps mindset
