Job Details

Job Title: UI Frontend Engineer

Location: New York, NY / New Jersey, NJ / Charlotte, NC / Atlanta, NJ

Duration: 18 Months

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Engineer to join our team in building intuitive, near real-time applications for the front office. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with modern web technologies and frameworks, with a strong understanding of real-time data processing and UI responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop high-performance, near real-time user interfaces for financial/front-office applications

Leverage platforms such as Here (previously OpenFin) to create interactive and integrated desktop experiences

Build and maintain applications using React, Angular (latest versions), and other modern JavaScript frameworks

Work closely with backend engineers using Spring Framework, Node.js, GraphQL, and AWS-based services

Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes Ensure responsive design and clean styling using CSS and UI best practices

Collaborate with product and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Required Skills:

Experience in front-end/UI development

Proven experience with React and/or Angular (recent versions)

Experience building applications using Here/OpenFin for desktop deployment

Strong understanding of real-time application development

Familiarity with Spring Framework, NodeJS, GraphQL, and AWS

Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application development

Solid skills in HTML/CSS and front-end architecture
