Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Architect to join a growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, lead, and implement enterprise-grade data solutions within Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
- Architect medallion-style data platforms and modern data estates.
- Lead strategic data vision engagements with customers, transforming business needs into scalable architectures.
- Leverage Microsoft Fabric components (OneLake, Data Factory, Lakehouses) to build cohesive, future-ready data platforms.
- Architect and develop data pipelines that support BI reporting and machine learning workflows using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
- Lead data modernization initiatives and cloud migration strategies.
- Design and build end-to-end ML pipelines using Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and other Azure AI tools.
- Integrate predictive analytics and AI-driven insights into enterprise data solutions.
- Serve as a technical lead in the sales cycle, gathering requirements, scoping efforts, and contributing to statements of work and proposals.
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on best practices and enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Develop intelligent, AI-infused data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, and other emerging technologies.
- Implement use cases spanning advanced analytics, real-time insights, and automation.
- Define governance models that ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance.
- Implement best practices using tools such as Microsoft Purview.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud-based data platforms.
- Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvements and cloud cost savings.
- Work cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Utilize the full Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Power BI, Fabric, and more) to deliver cutting-edge data and AI solutions.
You:
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud data platforms, and enterprise data strategy.
- Proven consulting background with strong client engagement and influence skills.
- Deep expertise in Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Databricks, Cosmos DB, etc.
- Experience working with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouses, Data Factory, Power BI).
- Proficiency in data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern data workflows.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, governance, and compliance (ideally with Microsoft Purview).
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable, AI-integrated platforms on Azure.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and OpenAI integrations preferred.
- Knowledge of AI-driven analytics, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools like Power BI preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates) preferred.
- Previous experience in enterprise consulting or professional services environments preferred.
