This position is in Australia

This position is initially set for a 12-month term, but is likely to transition to a permanent role.
  • Carry out structural maintenance on Australian F-35A aircraft under the Air Combat Group (ACG) Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO).
  • Responsible for the production, maintenance and repair sheet metal, bonded and non-metallic composite material and components, and LO treatment on the aircraft.
  • Ensure maintenance and technical documentation or data used during maintenance is authorised for use and is compliant.
  • Correctly and promptly record details of work performed on the correct documents, and if required, to gain certification of the performance of such work in the required timeframes
  • Ensure that all appropriate documentation for engineering advice, defect reporting, maintenance deficiencies and publication amendments are incorporated as directed
  • Report to the Team Leader all defects, deficiencies, maintenance errors and unserviceability's as they arise
  • Carry out maintenance only to the delegated and authorised level
  • Initiate quality, non-conformance or defect reporting relating to maintenance tasks as directed

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Prior military aircraft maintenance experience, preferably fifth generation
  • Minimum 2 years of structural repair and LO experience on F-35 aircraft
  • Have experience with corrosion remediation on aircraft structure and IAW approved process and procedures
  • Have experience with F-35 Autonomics Logistics Information System (ALIS)
  • Ability to deliver work within a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • High School diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of structural repair and LO experience on F-35 aircraft
  • Knowledge or experience with F-35 JTD
  • Have experience with corrosion remediation on aircraft structure
  • Have experience with F-35 Autonomics Logistics Information System (ALIS)
  • Ability to deliver work within a fast-paced team environment
  • Must hold or have previously held Secret level US Government clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75500 - $120800

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
