Duration: 30 Months Contract
Work Location: Utica, NY
Additional Information;
- Security Requirements; Mandatory ITS Security Agreements and fingerprint-based background check.
- Training Requirements; Resource must sign a confidentiality agreement, complete all NYS OER-mandated trainings, and attend required confidentiality training.
- Knowledge Transfer; Resource will train or mentor State Staff in test processes and tools if requested.
- Travel Anticipation; Yes.
- Anticipated Frequency and Locations for Travel; Travel to DOL sites in the Central/Western NY region is required. Approximately 25 30 sites will each require up to three visits. Estimated travel cost: $15,534 (based on number of sites, visits, mileage estimates, and GSA reimbursement rates).
Day-to-Day Tasks;
- Provide detailed site survey consultations
- Travel to sites to perform required site surveys
- Complete rough order magnitude estimates for site surveys
- Submit internal requests to fulfill site surveys and monitor progress to resolution
- Act as liaison between ITS and DOL for site surveys
- Implement, configure, install, troubleshoot, relocate, and remove various network equipment on site as needed
Requested Qualifications;
- 60 months of experience installing and troubleshooting PCs and printers
- 60 months of experience installing and troubleshooting servers
- 12 months of experience installing and troubleshooting VoIP phones
- 60 months of experience installing and troubleshooting data communications equipment
- 60 months of experience conducting technical site surveys
- 60 months of experience in data cable installation and troubleshooting
- 36 months of experience conducting inventory control
- 36 months of experience in desktop support
