SOC Shift Manager- EMEA
We are seeking a Security Operations Shift Manager to lead and support our EMEA shift within our dynamic Cyber Fusion Center, providing 24/7 Advanced Threat Detection and Response for our clients.
- Oversee the daily operations of the EMEA shift, ensuring timely and accurate detection, analysis, and response to security incidents.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the team, guiding the initial triage process and supporting in- depth analysis of security-related incidents across various platforms.
- Provide hands-on support to analysts during high-volume alert periods or critical incidents.
- Mentor and develop analysts fostering growth in technical skills, analytical capabilities, and effective communication.
- Monitor and identify trends in regional threat activity and collaborate with other SOC shifts and teams to enhance detection and response capabilities.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of runbooks, workflows, and processes.
- Ensure seamless handoffs between regional shifts to maintain continuous SOC operations and coverage.
- Act as a thought leader collaborating with other SOC managers to continuously evolve and improve the service delivery strategy for our clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in security operations or MSSP environments.
- 6+ years of experience in security operations, including time as a lead or manager.
- Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GCIA, CISSP, or other relevant cybersecurity credentials.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proven mentorship and coaching experience, with a focus on developing team members' technical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, regional stakeholders, and external partners.
- Proven experience with multiple mainstream SIEM and EDR platforms.
- Strong understanding of alert triage, incident detection, and response processes.
