Aerodynamics Engineer (Experienced or Senior)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring an Aerodynamics Engineer (Experienced or Senior ) to support our Aero Performance Fleet Support team based in Everett, WA.
Aero Performance Fleet Support is part of the larger Aero Performance organization within BCA Flight Sciences. Aerodynamic Performance is responsible for performance data products for all Boeing Commercial Aircraft. We participate in the entire aircraft lifecycle from early development to operation in the fleet. Our analysis includes all phases of flight from takeoff to landing and ensures our products meet all regulatory requirements.
Aero Performance is made up of four groups:
Our performance products support the Airplane Flight Manuals (AFM), Flight Management Computer (FMC) databases, Flight Crew Operations Manual (FCOM), certified low speed performance parameters, Extended Twin Operations (ETOPs) certification, sales brochures, performance guarantees, guarantee compliance, high speed databases, fleet/operational queries and analysis of competitive products. Our teams are dedicated to customer satisfaction, technical excellence, first pass quality and continuous improvement.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Level Aerodynamics Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:
- Performs aero performance analysis to support Aero Performance Fleet Support statement of work including:
- Performance data publications (FCOM / DDG / ACAP / FCTM).
- Accident investigations and COSP evaluation.
- Airline and internal performance data requests.
- Flight Management Computer (FMC) database development and support.
- Contributes to improving aero performance tools and processes.
- Supports aircraft certification.
- Trains and coaches others.
- Works under general supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree within Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Discipline.
- 5+ years of related work experience.
- Experience with aircraft performance analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
- Experience working with cross functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Masters or PhD in aerospace engineering or related discipline.
- Direct experience with Aero Performance Fleet Support statement of work (see position responsibilities).
- Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 25 regulations related to aircraft performance.
- Proficient with at least one of the modern programming languages (Python, C++, etc).
