Security Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Security Analyst to help mature and streamline vendor information security review processes. In this role, the Security Analyst will work closely with the current GRC Lead to build workflow automations, manage vendor documentation, and collaborate with Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Legal teams to enhance vendor security practices.

Summary:
Your day may include monitoring onboarding reviews, communicating with stakeholders, reviewing documentation status for existing vendors, and initiating new reviews during contract renewals. You'll also have opportunities to automate these processes and expand into areas such as controls compliance and audit documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 0-5 years of relevant experience
* Self-starter comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment
* Experience with technology vendor management, including cloud providers
* Strong background in compliance risk management
* Effective vendor management capabilities

Preferred Skills:
* Cybersecurity analysis experience
* Familiarity with controls implementation and audit documentation
* Understanding of controls compliance frameworks
* Strong communication skills with an inclusive and thoughtful approach
* Willingness to experiment with AI tools and technologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
