PL/SQL Developer
Location: Alpharetta, GA or Wilmington, DE (Hybrid)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize
Oracle-based data solutions supporting enterprise-grade financial systems. The ideal
candidate will have hands-on experience in complex SQL tuning, stored-procedure
development, and data integration with modern cloud and analytics platforms such as AWS
and Snowflake.
You will work closely with data architects, ETL engineers, and analytics teams to ensure data
quality, performance, and reliability across mission-critical banking and payment systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers,
and views for transactional and analytical systems.
Optimize and tune SQL queries for high-volume, performance-critical environments.
Collaborate with data architects to integrate on-prem Oracle data with AWS S3 and
Snowflake.
Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) solutions for core
financial data sets.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple systems and
environments.
Support data migration and modernization projects from legacy Oracle platforms to
cloud-based architectures.
Create technical documentation, data dictionaries, and process flow diagrams.
Partner with QA and DevOps teams for unit testing, CI/CD automation, and
deployment of database components.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and database design.
Expertise in SQL optimization, performance tuning, indexing, and query plans.
Strong knowledge of database normalization, partitioning, and materialized views.
Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Ab Initio, or AWS Glue.
Solid understanding of data modeling (OLTP/OLAP) and relational design principles.
Familiarity with AWS RDS, S3, and Snowflake for data integration and migration.
Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data and performance issues.
Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in banking, cards, payments, or financial data processing.
Exposure to Python or Shell scripting for automation of data jobs.
Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and audit control frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Certifications such as Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional or AWS Data
Analytics Specialty are a plus.
Education
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
